“Never Fade” è il nuovo brano tratto da “Rainier Fog”, il disco che segna il ritorno sulle scene musicali di una tra le band più importanti ed alternative del panorama hard-rock anni ’90 di matrice americana. Dopo un silenzio discografico durato cinque anni, la band con oltre 30 milioni di album venduti in tutto il mondo, numerose nomination ai Grammy e singoli ai vertici delle hit charts, sta tornando più carica che mai!

Ma le buone notizie per i super fan della band non finiscono qui: in occasione della pubblicazione di “Rainier Fog”, Alice in Chains saranno la prima band ad esibirsi in uno speciale concerto sul palco rotante di vetro “The Loupe” a Space Needle a Seattle, collocato a circa 150 metri da terra. L’evento verrà trasmesso via satellite il 31 agosto da SiriusXM alle ore 23.00 (orario italiano), attraverso la speciale app SiriusXM e su www.siriusxm.com
“I’ve visited the Space Needle many times in my life and it’s going to be a real honor and a total trip for us to play there,”afferma Jerry Cantrell. “We’re so proud of this album and to be able to celebrate its release with a performance at one of our town’s most iconic landmarks is really special. It sorta reminds me of the time we did the ‘Again’ video, but instead of being 6 feet in the air rocking out on a glass floor, we’ll be 50 stories high…slight difference.”
Dopo un silenzio discografico durato cinque anni, “Rainier Fog” segna il ritorno di Alice In Chains sulle scene musicali, il primo su etichetta BMG. A proposito del disco Cantrell afferma, in una recente intervista, “It’s a record we haven’t done yet, but it’s also a record that has all the elements of anything you would expect from us. It’s got our fingerprint. And we’re really proud of the material we wrote and the performances we captured. There’s some really heavy sh*t, some really ugly stuff, some really beautiful stuff, some weirdo trippy sh*t…it’s good. We wait until we’re ready and until we have material that’s up to the Alice In Chains standard and then we do what we do. This is the racket we make when we get together.”
Il nuovo album di studio è il terzo della band con il produttore Nick Raskulinecz e Paul Figueroa ed arriva a cinque anni di distanza dall’acclamato “The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here”, entrato direttamente al n.1 della Billboard Alternative Album Chart e della iTunes Rock Album Chart.
