ALICE IN CHAINS il loro ritorno con “The One You Know” e due live in Italia

Dopo un silenzio discografico durato cinque anni, “The One You Know” segna il ritorno di Alice In Chains sulle scene musicali. Il brano anticipa il nuovo album in arrivo a breve, il primo con BMG. A proposito del prossimo disco Cantrell afferma, in una recente intervista, “It’s a record we haven’t done yet, but it’s also a record that has all the elements of anything you would expect from us. It’s got our fingerprint. And we’re really proud of the material we wrote and the performances we captured. There’s some really heavy sh*t, some really ugly stuff, some really beautiful stuff, some weirdo trippy sh*t…it’s good. We wait until we’re ready and until we have material that’s up to the Alice In Chains standard and then we do what we do. This is the racket we make when we get together.”

Il nuovo album di studio, il cui titolo è ancora in definizione, è il terzo della band con il produttore Nick Raskulinecz e Paul Figueroa ed arriva a cinque anni di distanza dall’acclamato “The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here”, entrato direttamente al n.1 della Billboard Alternative Album Chart e della iTunes Rock Album Chart.

Attivi da oltre trenta anni, Alice In Chains sono tra i migliori rappresentanti dell’hard-rock anni Novanta, con oltre 30 milioni di album venduti in tutto il mondo, una fanbase gigantesca, numerose nominations ai Grammy e brani ai vertici delle hit singles charts mondiali.

Alice In Chains sono attualmente in tour per una serie di prime date in cui è compresa anche l’Italia, per due appuntamenti estivi che porteranno la band di Los Angeles sui palchi di Sherwood Festival (Padova, 28 giugno) e dell’Ippodromo di San Siro (10 luglio, Milano).
