Dopo aver pubblicato il 15 giugno “Please Don’t Be Dead”, il secondo album di studio, il vincitore del Grammy con il debutto “The Last Days of Oakland” annuncia la pubblicazione digitale della deluxe edition di “Please Don’t Be Dead”, arricchita da cinque nuovi brani acustici, in uscita il 5 ottobre per Cooking Vinyl/Edel. Primo brano estratto, disponibile come instant grat preordinando il disco, “Dark Windows”, un omaggio al caro amico scomparso Chris Cornell, un brano altamente personale.Fantastic Negrito ebbe l’onore di conoscere Chris Cornell dopo aver girato in tour insieme tre volte in un anno. Dall’esperienza lavorativa nacque una forte amicizia. “When Chris’ life ended so abruptly and tragically just months after our last tour together, I wrote ‘Dark Windows’ about some of the conversations and emails we’d exchanged,” says Negrito. “In the brief time that we knew each other we had a profound understanding of each other, all from a very comfortable distance.” afferma Fantastic Negrito.
La seconda instant grat, disponibile dal 21 settembre, sarà la versione acustica di “Bad Guy Necessity”, una condanna all’inganno ed alle false promesse, nascoste soprattutto dietro agli affari. “It seems that this is part of human nature, the idea of US versus THEM, The Devil and The Savior.
